Last week, Daniel started a new exercise routine. He likes to work out at the gym because he wants to be healthy. On Monday, he lifted weights and ran on a treadmill. The next day, he also rode a stationary bike.

On Wednesday, Daniel had a problem. He hurt his back while lifting weights and fell down. His back and neck hurt a lot. Daniel went to the doctor, and the doctor said he has to rest for a few days. He has to stop lifting weights.

The doctor also gave Daniel advice. He said Daniel should stretch slowly and shouldn’t work out too much. Daniel could do light exercise, like doing yogagoing walking, or swimming at the swimming pool.

Now Daniel is more careful. He knows he has to listen to his body. Exercise is important, but safety is very important too.
