Level 2 Unit 4 Writing
Objective: To describe similarities and differences between two family members.
Write a short paragraph (80–100 words) about your family and relationships. Include:
1. Your marital status (single, married, engaged, divorced, etc.)
2. At least 4 family members (for example: mother, sister, cousin, grandmother)
3. 2 comparative sentences
Example: My sister is more friendly than my brother.
4. 1 similarity sentence
Example: They dress alike. / Their tastes are similar.
5. 2 adjectives to describe people (friendly, funny, athletic, etc.)
Example:
I am single, and I live with my mother and brother. My mother is very hard-working and friendly. My brother is funny, but he is quieter than me. I am more athletic than my brother. I also have two cousins, and they dress alike. Their tastes are similar because they like the same music. My grandmother is more friendly than my grandfather, but he is funnier. I like my family because we are close.
